Though formed in 1992, it was From here to eternity – their second album, originally released in Japan in 1998 – where Envy truly started to become Envy. This is where the tempos began to vary, the dynamic range expanded, and the songwriting became more complex and expressive. The extraordinary influence that Envy has had on underground music can be traced all the way back to From here to eternity.
