a perfect showcase for extreme technical mastery, but unlike almost every other band at this level, the complexity and skill is not the point at all, everything is so focused on expression, emotion, energy... Converge is untouchable Giles

Possibly the best post-rock piece of art I've heard, and I've heard a lot. Makes you wanna cry as it seems to capture all the sad beauty of life, distilled in a bunch of tunes. Mono is just awesome. sergpot

This album hits like a ton of bricks. I can't say how long it's been since a band reached me like this, but I can't get enough. The driving rhythm, the ghostly floating leads, the haunting and direct lyrics, the desperation in her voice... Powerful. Jaycee
